Description
KEITH’s role included complete civil engineering, construction surveying, permitting, construction inspections, and administrative services. The improvements included complete site development, paving/grading/drainage system, potable water/sanitary sewer systems, chilled water system coordination, and pavement marking/signage. Challenges in this design included accurately determining current conditions from previous on-campus development projects and re-routing of an existing FPL main feeder duct bank running through the proposed building pad. Detailed site investigations were necessary and coordination with FPL and the design team were critical to the second phase of project construction.

The project was developed in two phases, which included the construction of a 59,000 square-foot multi-purpose two-story building, and re-configuration of two existing parking areas within the heart of the Nova Southeastern University’s Davie campus, located in between two operational university campus facilities. This project is certified LEED Gold.
