Description

Jackson Health System (JHS) developed the west campus to increase access to healthcare to the residents of west Miami-Dade County. The 27-acre campus is located in the City of Doral. The project consisted of a 100-bed hospital totaling 250,000+/- gross square feet, a 60,000+/- square-foot ambulatory clinic (MBO), a support building, which included a central utility plant, and a 900 car parking garage. The project was constructed to achieve LEED Silver designation and the 8+ acre lake with wetlands on the site weas preserved and enhanced.

KEITH provided design through construction completion services, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, and site civil engineering using BIM for design and coordination, permitting, construction inspection, and construction administration services. Survey responsibilities services on and off site included boundary, topographic, and tree surveys. Site civil engineering included complete site development, drainage design peer reviews, and potable water/sanitary sewer systems. Planning services entailed rezoning portions of the property, site plan preparation, and processing through the City of Doral and Miami-Dade County. Landscape Architecture design services were provided for multiple phases of the project.
