October 2025, Issue 15

As the Florida Panthers prepare to raise another championship banner, I am reminded of Wayne Gretzky’s quote: “I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.” While we celebrate our accomplishments, our focus remains on the future of where the puck is going.
Looking ahead, we’re advancing several strategic initiatives:
- Community – We’re investing in team wellness, responsive client solutions, and meaningful community engagement.
- Technology – Our emerging technology team is focused on initiatives that will keep us ahead of the curve, such as Drone/LiDAR, AI, GIS, virtual/augment reality, and Data Management.
- Market Development – We are continuing to strengthen public-private partnerships and supporting infrastructure, water management, and vibrant spaces for living, working, and playing.
As we enter the final quarter of 2025, we reflect on the relationships we’ve strengthened and the progress we’ve made in advancing our mission to create, preserve, and enhance our communities. Our team continues to deliver impactful work across Florida and beyond. Highlights include:
- Vulnerability assessments for multiple communities and new contracts with South Florida Water Management District, focusing on our KEITH Water efforts and sustainable practice to support the growth and preservation of key assets.
- Ongoing development at Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale International Airport continuing to advance the vital connections for goods and people in our KEITH Access and KEITH Facility.
- KEITH Life has seen major development at The Pomp by Cordish Companies in Pompano Beach; as well as the anticipated completion of the Hyatt Andaz resort in the Turks and Caicos.
- FDOT remains a top client, with active projects across Districts 2, 5, and 7, our first design win in District 3, a Districtwide Utility Coordination award in District 4, and ongoing design work in District 6 and Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise through KEITH Access contracts.
- The delivery of several meaningful KEITH Play projects including DC Alexander Park, Huizenga Park and the Surfside Memorial.
These projects reflect our commitment to thoughtful design, technical excellence, and community-focused solutions. Beyond our work, KEITH has participated in industry events and supported over a dozen community initiatives with hundreds of service hours and funds raised.
We’re proud of our progress and grateful for the trust our clients place in us. As we close out the year, we remain committed to innovation, integrity, and purpose — always skating toward where the puck is going in 2026.
